Vinland Saga Creator Gives a Heartbreaking Update on the Anime's Third Season

Makoto Yukimura shared an update on the third season of Vinland Saga, and it's not one that fans will like. Vinland Saga is one of the most critically acclaimed manga series of all time. Author Makoto Yukimura carefully brought to life a somber reflection on war and violence through the cast of compelling characters who populate this historical drama. Vinland Saga was adapted into an anime by Wit Studio in 2019. A second season, produced by MAPPA, aired in 2023. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a continuation, but a sad update was just shared by Yukimura himself.
